An idea born in a rural environment can grow far beyond its place of origin. Natursnacks is an example of how entrepreneurship, local products, and digitalization can combine to create a business with national and international reach.
In this episode of “Conectando el RURAL al mundo” (Connecting RURAL to the World), the podcast by Asteo Red Neutra, a company in which Rurix is a shareholder, Pedro Abad talks with Sandra de Blas, founder of Natursnacks, about her experience as an entrepreneur in Pedrajas de San Esteban, Valladolid.
The company crafts dehydrated fruits and vegetables in an artisanal way, working with local farmers and committing to production linked to the territory. But its growth also demonstrates the importance of technology for small rural businesses: Natursnacks uses digital tools to manage traceability, stock, and much of its commercial activity.
Her story proves that living and starting a business in a village does not have to limit the reach of a project. With connectivity, innovation, and a differentiated value proposition, a small rural business can access much broader markets and customers.
